Batter cake (3pax) page 26 textbook

Butter 375gm use chilled butter
Sugar 375gm
Eggs 375gm
Cake flour 375gm
Baking powder 10.5gm
**sieve the cake flour n baking powder
**Vanilla essense 7.5gm

Process
1) Butter + sugar cream till light n fluffy * can add vanilla essence here
Speed 1 x 1min (1scrap)
Speed 2 x 5min (2 scrap)

2)Add eggs 1 by 1 *scrap before adding each egg
Speed 2 x 8-10mins 

3)Add dry ingredients - add bit by bit *turn to low speed *speed 1 until dough blends in
**Pan 500gm +/-

4)Bake about 150deg **home oven bake at 160deg 40 to 45mins top n bottom heat

For 250gm butter can use 8" tray

Spray oil all on the sites n bottom tray n place baking paper
Note for orange batter cake reduce 1 egg and ads 60gm orange juice

For extra glazing
Lemon juice 1pc
Icing sugar  2tablespoon
Water 1-2tablespoon
Stir on the preferred thickness
